Jodhamal Youth Conclave
Atta Dipa Viharatha
28th - 29th AUGUST
Mian Mohammad Raza
DIRECTOR FOR PUBLIC AFFAIR AND OUTREACH
It gives us immense pleasure to welcome you all to one of the most awaited conferences of Jammu and Kashmir, that is, the Jodhamal Youth Conclave, popularly known as the JYC. After a successful e-JYC last year, we're back again with yet another virtual edition of the JYC. Since the last 4 years JYC has been setting high standards edition by edition and this year would be no different. JYC is proud to host a diverse group of delegates from all over the country.
A youth conclave has the ability to let delegates speak up for what they believe in and become involved in the world. It cultivates students of today into the leaders of tomorrow who would have the ability and the confidence to reshape this world. JYC is founded on introducing delegates to major world problems, encourage our delegates, enhance their abilities of critical thinking, teamwork, decision making, propose effective solutions, enabling them to analyze and elevate consciousness, developing new diplomats and inspiring a generation full of young minds charged with zeal/enthusiasm to be the change they want !
These days, during times of disparity our event cannot be held as usual. As the adage goes ‘Every grey cloud has a silver lining’ We are fortunate enough to connect with our dear delegates virtually!
The idea behind JYC is to rise above the storms - the belief that we can overcome obstacles if we rise to challenges by taking action and standing up for what we believe in. Providing our delegates a phenomenal platform of conference with a plethora of possibilities.
The Secretariat has spent a considerable time finalizing the committees which will provide intellectual stimulation in participants and impart sensitivity and a sense of professionalism to our delegates and ourselves. The crisis in various committees are designed in such pattern that will train your mind to look into the deepest of the details and change your perspective of critical thinking.
What we desire from our delegates is not how experienced or articulate they are. Rather, we want to see how they respect disparities and differences of opinion, work around these, while extending their own policy so that it encompasses more of the others without compromising their own stand, thereby reaching unanimously acceptable practical solutions.
In these two days where you trust us with your esteemed presence, we seek to not only give you a platform for debate, but a warm and welcoming environment.
LETTER FROM THE DIRECTORATE
Letter From The Secretary General
It is my staunch belief that it is us, the generation of young crusaders who shall carry the torch of peace, liberty and freedom in the forthcoming years and platforms like these are the perfect places to express, influence, create and revolutionize.
I hope my enthusiasm for this edition of JYC falls short of the actual impact we make in the lives of hundreds of young and budding participants that shall bring impactful changes in the world for the better. We are eagerly awaiting to host each one of you with a magnificent blend of international, national and unconventional forums of discussion, discourse and diplomacy. On behalf of my whole directorate here at Jodhamal YC, we wish you the best of luck and eagerly await your arrival at our 2-day online bonanza of diplomacy and deliberation .
Rest assured , be ready for a warm Jodhamal welcome ( we don't know any other way )
However tough times may get , may we never waiver from the right path , however tough times may get , may peace prevail and destruction perish away.
Signing in ,
Mian Mohammad Raza
